![]() > I found this bug in FTK imager ver 4.2 and 4.3. ![]() > Also I have checked MD5 hash and SHA1 hash which was exactly same in all imaging tool. > Same pendrive have been imaged using other tools (Logicube Falcon and Ditto Imager) which gives correct serial number. ![]() > Pendrive connected for imaging (FTK imager ver 4.2 and 4.3) gives me incorrect or somewhat partial characters/digits corrected serial number which is not expected. Today, while working in digital forensic I found a bug or you may called it as error or whatever it may be in Access Data FTK Imager version 4.2 as well in latest release 4.3 which i have been working till now. This post/article is for all cyber/Computer/digital/mobile forensic team, expert, officers, investigators, DFIR, Cyber security and others who are in this field.
